Forest Creek Block Captain Meeting - October 11 at 3:00
The meeting is still happening but at Scottie Lawrence's house at 85th & Oswego at 3:00 p.m. Scottie's house faces Oswego and is next door to the Powell's; south from the park.
Fall Neigborhood Garage Sale - Saturday, October 10th
Our next neigbhoor garage sale is on October 10th, starting at 8 a.m., for residents to hold their on garage sale but take advantage of the traffic to other sales in the neighborhood. The Homeowners Association (FCHA) is purchasing some new signs to advertise the sale at the entrances. We will also have an ad in the Tulsa World and a listing on Craigs List.

To have those pesky biters sprayed, call the city's hotline at 595-4219.
Rabid Bats - Beware!
Nearby Thousand Oaks neighborhood have a couple of reports of dead bats that tested positive for rabies. Make sure your pets are updated on their shots in case of a bite.
Park Friends Memberships
Purchase a Park Friends $20 Membership and help our neighborhood. In order to raise money to keep the park looking nice since the pool will not be opening this summer, Park Friends is selling $20 memberships. In the past, the pool memberships have paid for the maintenance of the park along with the pool. These new $20 memberships that Park Friends is offering will keep our park mowed and watered and lights working. The park not only has value to our residents but also to new home buyers which helps our home values to keep rising! Park Friends memberships will be sold at the park during our summer concerts.
Volunteers Always Needed. The Forest Creek board is made up of nine residents who volunteer their time and effort for our neighborhood, but we need more people to head up special projects like serving on the board or volunteering. The strength of a great neighborhood is the residents volunteering their talents for the good of everyone. If you can serve in some way, please email info@forestcreektulsa.com.
